Balmoral Has Your Ticket for Fall Fun

Summer might be ending, but the entertainment is still hot at Balmoral Bar & Grill.

If you’ve ever been to Balmoral Bar & Grill, then you know that we like to have a good time. And if you haven’t been yet, have we got some fantastic news for you! Our entertainment calendar is full of awesome events over the next few months, so if you haven’t visited us at Balmoral Bar & Grill yet, we’re about to give you plenty of reasons to do so.

The Lineup

Before the summer ends, we want to squeeze one more amazing party out of it, so we’re throwing a 21-and-up Adult Glow Foam Party on August 25 from 7 to 11 p.m. Florida Foam Factory will bring the foam, we’ll bring the fun, so you just need to bring yourself to this outrageously unforgettable event. 

Then as we head into autumn, Balmoral Bar & Grill is thrilled to announce our first Oktoberfest on October 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.! The free festival celebrating German food, music, and – of course – beer is going to be one oom-pah-pah of a good time.

As Halloween creeps up on us, we’ll have the Dueling Pianos present a Screaming Ghoul Time on October 27 from 7 to 10 p.m., followed by a Poolside Halloween Costume Party for all the kids and families to enjoy on the 28 from 7 to 11 p.m. We’ll have prizes, candy, spooky surprises, food, a haunted house, and so much fun it’s scary!

After the ghosts and goblins have departed, we’ll have a visit from the White Witch herself – okay, maybe it won’t be Stevie Nicks herself on stage, but she’ll be here in spirit when the Stevie Nicks Experience Tribute Band plays at Balmoral Bar & Grill on November 12 from 8 to 10 p.m. If you can’t throw down hundreds of dollars to see the legendary rock goddess in person, then come enjoy an amazingly accurate tribute to that siren of the ’70s!

CHEF NOEL WINS HEARTS THROUGH PIZZA, HISPANIC FARE

Balmoral Event Center takes pride in what we have to offer, and so do our incredible employees. We have Chef Noel in the kitchen, and he is fantastic at putting together amazing meals for our special events.

Meet Chef Noel

He’s only been with us for 11 months so far, but Chef Noel has made an indelible impression on everyone at Balmoral Event Center. His delicious Caribbean-inspired dishes are so full of flavor you can’t help but come back for more!

Noel was born and raised in New Jersey, where he first encountered the marvelous, authentic pizzeria-style of food that he’s fallen in love with. When he moved to Puerto Rico, he began working at Sbarro making pizzas. He was promoted to manager, then decided to go to culinary school. After graduating, he got a job working in the kitchen of a Marriott Hotel.

Noel spent eight years working for Marriott, ultimately transferring to Florida with the company. He began creating a plan to operate his own food truck, but the pandemic interrupted his plans. That’s when he discovered Balmoral.

When Noel came to work for Balmoral, he helped to design our pizza menu. He personally enjoys the light, fresh flavor of a margarita pizza, and recommends that customers try the Balmoral Royale for a delicious, hearty pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, onions, peppers, and black olives.

“I make my own dough so that tastes a little better than anything else,” Noel explains what makes the pizza at Balmoral exceptionally good. “We do our own dough and our own sauces.”

He also specializes in crafting our authentic Hispanic fare. Noel’s specially blended sofrito is always on hand for marinating, and he makes sure that there are plenty of fresh spices in stock, including garlic and cilantro.

“The Spanish things I love because that’s my area, that’s what my mom used to cook – the pork, and the rice,” Noel describes his favorite dishes to prepare at Balmoral Event Center. “But I really like the pizzas. I always love making my pizzas and doughs.”

Balmoral Bar & Grill loves our customers – and we want them to be happy! That’s why we developed an excellent menu for Happy Hour, which we offer every Monday through Thursday. So if the weekday blues are starting to get to you, come on out to Balmoral Bar & Grill to have your spirits lifted!

Happy Hour at Balmoral Bar & Grill
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Balmoral Bar & Grill celebrates customers with a Happy Hour extending from 3 to 6 p.m. It’s a great way to change the pace after a rough day at work!

For the beer-drinking crowd, we offer the ever-popular Bud Lights and Michelob Ultras for just $3 each. If cocktails are your thing, we’ve got you covered with $4 well drinks and Fireball shots. Feeling fancy? No problem! We offer our house wines, plus Captain Morgan, Absolut, and Fighting 69th Irish Whiskey for just $6 each. Sundays should be for relaxing with family in a pleasant environment, and Balmoral Bar & Grill specializes in hosting poolside brunches to provide this type of experience for the folks of Central Florida. That’s why we are excited to share the Luau Brunch with you.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 31, Balmoral Bar & Grill will be serving a brunch featuring classics such as scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and fruit, as well as some special dishes prepared by our talented chefs just for the Luau Brunch, like Hawaiian chicken and sliced teriyaki top sirloin. Be sure to bring your appetite with you!

For your entertainment, we are thrilled to present a number of Polynesian performers. You will witness traditional performances including the quintessential Hawaiian hula dance, the high-energy haka war dance from New Zealand’s indigenous Māori culture, plus a true Samoan fireknife dance. Balmoral Summer at the Pool Series

Balmoral Bar & Grill has so much incredible entertainment lined up for this summerǃ Haines City’s live music venue has local musicians playing every week, plus DJ parties, karaoke, and trivia nights. Now that it’s summer, we’re adding some extra special fun events to the schedule with our Summer at the Pool Series.

We’re kicking off the celebration of summer with an exclusive adults-only Rum Tequila Party on Friday evening, June 17, from 7–11 p.m. DJ Melvin Rios will be spinning summer’s hottest hits poolside with the Balmoral Beauties throughout the evening. 

Local family-owned distillery Lugo’s Craft Spirits is proudly sponsoring the rum for this exciting event. Some of the signature cocktails that will feature Lugo’s Craft Spirits for just $12 each include the Dame Un Palo, Hawaiian Punch, Rum Sangria, and Mojito. We’ll also have Patron Margaritas for $12. 

The outstanding chefs of Balmoral Bar & Grill will be serving some delicious fusion dishes for you to nosh on when you’re not in the water. You’ll definitely want to try their mouthwatering beef kabobs for only $6, or the Asian-inspired chicken satay for $5.

Shiver Me Timbers! Set Sail with Captain Sebastien at Balmoral’s Pirate Foam Party!

Balmoral Water Park is doing it again this summer – hosting an amazing Foam Party for the whole family to enjoy! This time, Captain Sebastien will be coming ashore to recruit a new pirate crew for a high seas adventure in the foamy waves of Balmoral Water Park.

Avast Ye!

Captain Sebastien has been sailing the seas in search of adventure, sunshine, and smiles for over 10 years, and now he’s docking at Balmoral Water Park on June 26 for a fabulous Foam Party. From 1:30–5 p.m., he’ll be roaming our foamy shores entertaining all of the kids as well as the young at heart.

The energetic, dreadlocked buccaneer will be leading all the lads and lassies who volunteer for his crew in some merrymaking with fun games like “Pirate Says” and relay races. If he’s feeling particularly jolly that day, don’t be surprised to find yourself winding about Balmoral Water Park in a dance line singing along to the sea shanties!

There’s no need to worry about the Captain leaving you marooned on a desert island or making you walk the plank into the briny deep because this old salt is all about spreading cheer along with all his hearties, seadogs and landlubbers alike!

“My favorite part is just bringing life and happiness to everyone,” Captain Sebastien exclaims.

You’ll love meeting and hanging out with Captain Seb Sparrow, as he’s known on the high seas. He comes strongly recommended by such scallywags as Kevin McNally, Martin Klebba, and Lee Arenberg – a few of the privateers who sailed with Sebastien’s biggest inspiration and influence on the Black Pearl.

Staff Highlight: Grab a Bite With Chef Bob

When you visit us at Balmoral Bar & Grill in Haines City, we want you to have an experience worth remembering. That’s why we hire outstanding people to prepare your food and serve a wonderfully memorable meal or event for you. One of those stellar individuals is Chef Bob, and we’d like to introduce you to him.

Meet Chef Bob

Bob is one of our talented chefs here at Balmoral Bar & Grill. Originally from Kansas, Bob trained under acclaimed chef Christopher Grace before spending a decade perfecting his culinary craft at Disney.

“Disney gave me volume,” Bob recalls of his past experience. “We were doing tens of thousands of dollars a day. Disney really prepared me professionally, learning the numbers, food costs, labor costs, keeping the business productive.”

Bob takes great pride in preparing everything we serve at Balmoral Bar & Grill with only the freshest ingredients, many of which are locally sourced right here in Central Florida. Since he’s been with us, he’s helped transform our kitchen from one that served a simple breakfast bar to one accommodating a full-service restaurant.

“Our steak is awesome. It’s made out of fresh, shaved ribeye,” Bob tells us. “We smoke all our own briskets. We smoke most of our top sirloins, steaks, and ribeyes – we do all that in-house.”

Not sure what to choose? He recommends trying one of their mouth-watering hamburgers or Philly cheesesteak subs. 

When it comes to preparing menus for special events, Bob likes to work with the hosts to come up with dishes that will be particularly appealing to them as well as their guests. He loves fusing the elements and flavors of different cultures together to create unique meals that deliver amazing taste sensations.

“The Bang Bang Shrimp that I just put on the menu is one of our top sellers,” Bob says.
