One of those stellar individuals is Chef Bob, and we’d like to introduce you to him.
Meet Chef Bob
Bob is one of our talented chefs here at Balmoral Bar & Grill. Originally from Kansas, Bob trained under acclaimed chef Christopher Grace before spending a decade perfecting his culinary craft at Disney.
“Disney gave me volume,” Bob recalls of his past experience. “We were doing tens of thousands of dollars a day. Disney really prepared me professionally, learning the numbers, food costs, labor costs, keeping the business productive.”
Bob takes great pride in preparing everything we serve at Balmoral Bar & Grill with only the freshest ingredients, many of which are locally sourced right here in Central Florida. Since he’s been with us, he’s helped transform our kitchen from one that served a simple breakfast bar to one accommodating a full-service restaurant.
“Our steak is awesome. It’s made out of fresh, shaved ribeye,” Bob tells us. “We smoke all our own briskets. We smoke most of our top sirloins, steaks, and ribeyes – we do all that in-house.”
Not sure what to choose? He recommends trying one of their mouth-watering hamburgers or Philly cheesesteak subs.
When it comes to preparing menus for special events, Bob likes to work with the hosts to come up with dishes that will be particularly appealing to them as well as their guests. He loves fusing the elements and flavors of different cultures together to create unique meals that deliver amazing taste sensations.
“The Bang Bang Shrimp that I just put on the menu is one of our top sellers,” Bob says.
